Here is a fun challenge for the next two weeks at Retro Rubber. So many great colors to play with and create your own design.
I have a relatively "new" to me stencil I wanted to play with, so I adapted the colors and came up with two versions using this color palette.
Most of my inks etc are from Imagine (aka Tsukineko) so they play well together!
- The background uses Altenew Geo Triangles stencil from 2022 and Memento inks in Angel Pink, Rose Bud, Lulu Lavender, Summer Sky, and Bahama Blue. Different colors are featured between the two cards.
- Fireworks! shimmer mists in Angel Pink, Bahama Blue, and Lulu Lavender are sprayed on water color cardstock and dried. The panel is cut down and inked with Memento Luxe Rose Bud.
- The trial of the background had more spray applied and once dried it became the "you" die cut from the Hot of the Press You stamp and die.
- After the cards were assembled the additional sentiment is stamped in Memento Luxe Rose Bud and heat embossed with clear embossing powder.
The stencils did take some time, but the finished product is so fun! Please do give this color challenge a try and show us what you come up with at Retro Rubber!
