Imagine and Flourishes LC Blog Hop

Welcome to the Flourishes Blog Hop sponsored by Imagine and Flourishes LC.  We have a great line-up of projects from the Artists In Residence from Imagine and the Design Team for Flourishes.  Your comments will enter you to win some wonderful prizes from Imagine and Flourishes LC.
I was privileged to work with the Winter Bouquet Stamp Set with wonderful daffodil flowers.  The ribbon just called out to be a red and green plaid ribbon.

Skill Level:  Beginner
Time:  1 hour

Step One:
Stamp focal image in Memento Tuxedo Black on vellum trimmed to 4 1/4” x 5 1/1”. Heat set ink with a heat tool. From the reverse side color the image with Memento Dual Tip Markers.  Start with the lighter shade first then add highlights with darker shades.  Dandelion, Cantaloupe, Bamboo Leaves, Cottage Ivy, and Rhubarb Stalk are used here. Heat set ink.

Step Two:
Stamp tag in Memento Tuxedo Black on white cardstock.  Stamp sentiment inside of tag in Memento Lady Bug. Ink Memento Bamboo Leaves on the tag with an Ink Blusher.  Fussy cut the tag.  Determine placement on the card and stamp tag on the front of the image.  The fussy cut tag will be layered over the image, so the string will appear to be tied into the bow.

Step Three
Die cut frame for image.  I used Elizabeth Craft Designs Stitched Rectangles.  Ink frame with Memento Bamboo Leaves with an Ink Blusher.  Ink edges of card base with Memento Lady Bug and an ink Blusher.

Step Four:
Adhere frame to vellum and trim vellum as needed.  Adhere vellum/frame to card front.  Adhere tag with dimensional foam adhesive.
