Here it is Decemeber already and in the midst of Christmas
preparations we have a new color challenge for you at Retro Rubber ChallengeBlog. It is easy, peasy! The challenge is traditional colors for your
card, tag, or project!
I made a simple layered card using a JustRight stamp from 2014. I stamped the image twice. One in Winter Green Versa Color and heat
embossed with Verdigris Embossing Powder.
The second in Scarlet Versa color and head embossed with Candy Red
Embossing Powder. The red version is die
cut with a circle die, and the green version is die cut with a Scalloped Circle
die both by Spellbinders.
The Core’dinations White Wash green cardstock is pressure
embossed with Sizzix’s Snow Globe embossing folder. After a little sanding to bring out the
leaves I added irRESISTible in Lady Bug to each of the berries. I set it aside to dry.
To create the 1/8” embossed border I used adhesive tape and
mitered the corners as I applied it to the card base. Candy Red Embossing Powder was added and then
heated. The layers are adhered
together. The stamped images are adhere
with two different thicknesses of dimensional foam adhesive.
Have some fun and create a Christmas card or two and enter
the challenge over at Retro Rubber Blog Challenge!
I am pleased to enter my card in the following challenges:
