Flower Fun with Retro Rubber Tic Tac Toe

We have another fun Tic Tac Toe board for you to play along with us at Retro Rubber.  Just a few rules to follow, use at least one stamp that needs inky love and is more than a year old (tell us the age please), and enter no more than 10 challenges total.

I choose the vertical row: Ribbon or Twine, Flowers, Embossing.  I was experimenting with several different colors of Tsukineko's Delicata inks to create a shimmery card.

  • Different portions of the Wild Rose set by Technique Tuesday (2016) were stamped on to coordinating squares of cardstock.
  • The coral squares are stamped in Dark Brown Shimmer and heat embossed with clear embossing powder.
  • The white square is stamped in Celestial Copper and heat embossed with clear embossing powder.
  • The black square is stamped in Shimmer White and heat embossed detail white embossing powder.
  • The card base is inked with Dark Brown Shimmer and a large Ink Dauber.
  • A square of white cardstock is trimmed to 3 3/4 x 3 3/4 and inked with Celestial Copper.
  • Sheer Shimmer Spritz in Copper is flicked over the card base and backing cardstock.
  • The sentiment is stamped in Celestial Copper and heat embossed with clear embossing powder.
  • A small hole is pierced at the fold and gold twine is wrapped around the card.  A double looped bow is adhered over the knot.
  • The layers are adhered together with dimensional foam adhesive.
Thanks so much for stopping by!  Please do come and play along with us at Retro Rubber, we look forward to seeing you in our gallery!

  2. Neva, this is absolutely gorgeous, I am always a fan of mini squares on cards. I love the splatter over the main panel and your card base. Claire x
