Congrats Grad for Retro Rubber

Yes siree bob . . . I am churning out the Graduation Congrats cards!  As mentioned before we have 2 grads in our own home, plus several other nieces and nephews.  Still a few more to share!  The challenge over at Retro Rubber for the next two weeks is a fun Tic Tac Toe.

Since Congrats was part of the board I knew one of the graduation cards in my production would involve our Retro Rubber Challenge.  I choose the Metallics, Congrats, Gems on the bottom row.

One of our nephew's High School colors are gold and black, so I was off and running with Delicata Golden Glitz and Black Shimmer.   The sparkle doesn't show up as well in the photo, as the sun was not cooperating when I took my photo.  I was inspired by a CAS sketch over at CAS(E) this sketch and the rest is quick work.  The grad caps are from Set #12 by Yvonne Albritten from July 2000.  I bought this set at a convention in Portland in the fall of 2000.  It has three different sizes of grad caps but I only used the two smaller ones.  The sentiment is from Technique Tuesdays Grad from May, 2015.  After stamping my images I edged the top panel with the Golden Glitz and the card base with Black Shimmer.  A few gold and black gems finish the card.  This was a fun card to create!  Hope Parker enjoys it!

Please do stop by and check out the design teams great interpretations of this challenge at Retro Rubber Challenge Blog!

I am delight to enter the following challenges:
