Thanks so much

I took some time out from cleaning out my craft room to make a thank you card.  Still have a few more to make to send out as thank yous for Christmas gifts!  My focus has changed a bit for 2019 and I hope to de-stash the clutter and organize the craft room as well as enter a few more challenges and submit for publication.  I also have a few new stamps and dies compliments of Black Friday shopping.  I do wait all year and purchase from my wish list at the discounted prices.  I decided to play along with a few challenges to create this card.

A new favorite company is Concord and 9th and their delightful Turnabout stamp sets and matching dies.  Here I have used the Many Thanks Turnabout and the die.  I pulled out my Versa Magic inks and used Pixie Dust, Malted Mauve, Sea Breeze and Aegean Blue to create the background.  The original stamped image is 6" x 6", so I trimmed it in half and edged it with the Malted Mauve.  The speech bubble is die cut and the outer edge is a separate piece, so it is easily inked with Aegean Blue.  The sentiments are stamped on the inner section also in Aegean Blue.  Since I've been going through my supplies and taking inventory I have found a few fun embellishments that you will see showing up in my creations.  To create the border from the sketch from Mojo Monday I used the Sew Easy Zig Zag piercer by We R Memory Keepers.  Little Boy Blue Floss also by We R Memory Keepers is used to stitch the pattern.  The final little embellishment is a very old Fancy Pants Designs set named Fashion Sense Sassy.  A posie, button, and pin are assembled into one embellishment with a bit of Little Boy Blue Floss tied into a bow to complete the card.

I am delighted to enter into the following challenges:

I choose Diecut, Thank You, and Stitching
